Mizuno Running- back to the future- this year’s autumn/winter product line, shot last fall in Colorado. Just putting the finishing touches on the video work for spring/summer 2015 line, shot a few weeks ago in Santa Barbara. More new work on defrisco.com.
Here’s a look back at the 2013 Pinot Noir harvest with one of our Edna Valley locals, Kynsi Winery.
I was fortunate enough to be on-set and document the production of what I thought was the most visually striking of yesterday’s Super Bowl commercials. The spot for Mountain Dew’s Kickstart aired just before kickoff (clever timing), and featured some stunning visuals of a mass rocket launch in the California desert. All of it was captured in-camera (beautifully) without any additional CGI effects, much harder that way… and so much better!
Here’s the spot and a behind the scenes video with some details about how they did it.
I was brought in by the talented team at Motive to shoot stills to help publicize the production. We spent two days and nights outside of Palmdale with the crew as they prepped for the shots, including two rocket launches featuring over 800 rockets. A really impressive collection of pros working together!
A few samples from the Pearl Izumi 2014 Fall/Winter catalog shot back in October. Colorado always offers great locations to feature their awesome gear being used by some talented and fearless riders.
Unfortunately, due to a severely limited jumping ability and no real basketball skill whatsoever, I won’t be performing soon in an arena near you. But the good news is that the Harlem Globetrotters’ 2014 World Tour is underway. Working with these guys is always great fun, as is working working with my friends at Adrenalin in Denver who directed the shoot in New York and designed the game program.
Getting caught up on posting some fresh work today. A bunch of new stuff posted to my Cycling gallery from the Pearl Izumi Spring/Summer 2014 catalog shoot in San Luis Obispo.
It’s going to be a great summer with some exciting projects on the horizon. Here’s my first highlight reel of video work.
